The Rug Decor offers complimentary standard delivery on all rug orders worldwide via UPS, FedEx, or DHL, with delivery in 3 to 10 business days. Orders are processed and shipped within 1 to 3 business days, and a shipping confirmation email with tracking is sent once the order leaves the warehouse. Made-to-order rugs typically take 10 to 60 days as they are crafted to specification. 
How are the shipping costs calculated?

Shipping costs are not calculated. The Rug Decor offers complimentary standard shipping on all rug orders worldwide via UPS, FedEx, or DHL, regardless of order size or destination. The only additional charges that may apply are import duties, taxes, or customs fees imposed by the destination country on international orders, which are paid directly to the shipping carrier or customs office upon delivery and are not included in the order total.

What about creases or marks after delivery?

Creasing or folding marks from packaging will typically disappear once the rug lies flat for a couple of days. If marks persist after 72 hours, contact support.
Why do handmade rugs take longer to deliver? 

Handmade rugs take longer because each piece is crafted to order, not pulled from inventory. The Rug Decor's made-to-order hand-knotted, hand-tufted, and hand-loomed rugs require 10 to 60 days for production, depending on size, design complexity, and construction type. Hand-knotting alone involves tying thousands to over a million knots individually, followed by manual washing, stretching, and finishing. Returns & Exchanges FAQ

What is the returns & exchange policy?

 Free returns are accepted if the rug is defective, damaged in transit, or significantly differs from the product images. If you change your mind or it doesn’t fit your space by preference, you are responsible for return shipping. For certain larger sizes (e.g., 10x14 and 12x15), returns are not accepted unless due to manufacturing/shipping damage.
Can I expect size or shape variations in a handmade rug?

Yes — slight variations in length or width (typically within ±3 inches) are expected and normal due to the artisanal crafting process.
What if my order arrives damaged?

For damaged or defective rugs, The Rug Decor offers complimentary return shipping for any rug that arrives with a manufacturer's defect or was damaged during transit. To initiate a claim, email customer service at info@therugdecor.com with your order number and reason for return within the 30-day return window from delivery. Refunds are issued to the original payment method within 5 to 7 business days after inspection.
